From the center of the country the desert road takes about four hours — you can stop at the Dead Sea or in Mitzpe Ramon on the way.

- From Ramon Airport, set it as the pickup point
- There are few gas stations and little signal in the desert — book in advance
- Break up the long drive with stops — mention them in the notes
