1. Who processes your data
The website movia-tours.com and the Movia Tours transfer service belong to Rufat Danilov, registration number 312051626 (the “Operator”, “we”).
This Policy explains what data we receive through the website, why, who we share it with, where and for how long we keep it, and how you can control it.
Processing is carried out in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law of the State of Israel (חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ“א-1981) and its data security regulations. Because the database is located in the European Union, we also follow the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data we receive
There are no accounts on the website: you do not register or create a password. We receive only what you enter in the booking form and in your correspondence with us.
Request details:
- type of service: transfer or a car with driver by the hour;
- from and to, flight number (if given);
- date and time, one way or round trip, return date and time;
- number of hours and waiting hours;
- number of adults and children, child seats and boosters, large and small suitcases;
- vehicle type or “choose for me”;
- notes and wishes in free text.
Your contact details: first and last name, phone, email address, preferred contact channel (call, WhatsApp or email).
Route data: when you pick an address from the suggestions, the website receives from Apple Maps the coordinates of the points, the distance and the travel time. An approximate price is calculated from these and the Operator’s price list (see section 4).
Technical data: like any website, the hosting server logs browser requests — IP address, requested page and time — for server operation and security.
What we do not receive:
- payment card details — there is no payment on the website;
- your location — the website does not request your device’s geolocation;
- advertising or tracking data — the website has no ads, analytics or counters.
If you choose to include special information in your notes (for example, that a passenger needs a wheelchair), we use it only to arrange the ride.
If you make a request on behalf of another person and give their name or phone, you confirm that they agree to their data being passed to us.
3. Why we use the data
- to receive and handle your request and show an approximate price;
- to contact you through the channel you chose, clarify details, and confirm the ride and the final price;
- to assign a driver and carry out the ride;
- to answer your questions and requests;
- to meet legal requirements, including accounting and tax requirements;
- to protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising and do not send marketing messages.
4. How a request is handled
A request sent from the website is a request, not a confirmed order. It goes to the dispatch system of the Movia platform (owned by the same Operator) as a draft order. A dispatcher contacts you, clarifies the details and confirms the ride and the final price. After confirmation, the order is assigned to a driver who is a partner of the Movia platform.
The approximate price in the form is calculated automatically from the distance and travel time provided by Apple Maps and the Operator’s price list, with possible surcharges (night, Shabbat, holidays, airport). Your contact details are not used for this calculation.
5. Who receives your data
The Operator’s dispatchers — all request details, in order to handle it.
The driver carrying out the ride — only what the ride needs: name, phone, addresses, date and time, flight number, number of passengers, luggage, child seats and notes.
Service providers working for us:
- Hostinger — website hosting; receives technical data about requests to the website;
- Apple (Apple Maps, MapKit JS) — address suggestions, coordinates and route. What you type into the “From” and “To” fields is sent to Apple. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy;
- Supabase — the cloud database of the Movia platform; stores requests, orders and the Operator’s price list;
- communication channels — the email service (Gmail, Google), WhatsApp (Meta) and the telephone carrier — when we write to or call each other. If you tap the WhatsApp button on the website, WhatsApp opens, and the conversation there is subject to WhatsApp’s terms and policy.
Government authorities — only upon a lawful demand.
6. Where the data is stored
Requests and orders are stored in the Supabase database in a data centre in Frankfurt (Germany), in the European Union. The service providers listed in section 5 (Apple, Google, Meta, Hostinger) may also process data in other countries, to the extent described above.
7. How long the data is kept
We keep data only as long as needed:
- a request that did not become a ride — as long as needed to handle it and reply to you; it is then deleted;
- a completed order — as long as needed for the ride and for resolving any questions about it, and for the period required by accounting and tax law;
- technical server logs — for the period set by the hosting provider.
After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law you may:
- know what data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your requests and contact details;
- withdraw your consent to processing;
- file a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (הרשות להגנת הפרטיות).
To exercise a right, write to movia.service@gmail.com or on WhatsApp to +972 52-530-9959. We will reply within 30 days. The deletion procedure is described on the Data Deletion page.
If the law requires us to keep some data (for example, records of a paid ride for accounting), we keep it only for the required period.
9. Security
The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the database is restricted: requests are visible only to the Operator’s authorised staff, and a driver sees only the data of their own ride. No system is absolutely secure; if you notice a vulnerability or suspect a leak, please let us know.
10. Children
A request must be made by an adult (over 18). About children we receive only their number and the seats needed; children’s names are not required.
11. Cookies
The website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. More in the Cookies document.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page, with the update date at the top.
